Bill C-204, the Sudan Accountability Act, is a private-members bill in the Canadian parliament which seeks to enhance the role of Canada and the international community in combating the genocide in the Sudan.  The bill calls for targeted government divestment (extraction of financial resources and business interests) from Sudanese businesses and corporations which fund the genocide in the Darfur region.  This petition urges the Canadian House of Commons and Senate to pass this bill and begin enforcing its provisions as soon as possible.
