'Support for Adults and Children experiencing Domestic Violence'

NAADV are currently funded by London Borough of Newham Children and Young peoples services to provide 'Support for Adults and Children experiencing Domestic Violence'. NAADV have been informed that LBN are no longer in a position to fund support services in Newham and therefore the service should close at the end of March 2009. This will mean that there will be NO support services for adults and children experiencing domestic violence in Newham unless they are high risk clients where the perpetrator is being prosecuted.

NAADV, Anchal (Asian women's services) and ELBOW (east London black women's services) are challenging this decision.
