443 signatures so far! Petition created by: Maggie Child Soldiers is a Crime Against Humanity also known as a type of slavery. This happens all around the world and many people don't know about it. Children as young as nine are being forced to work as child soldiers. These children are being sacrificed in the war. They are being sexually harassed and education is being taken away from them. The Lord Resistance Army in Congo (LRA) is an example of a group using child soldiers. The reason that there are so many child soldiers is because they are easily manipulated and there are many children so it makes them easy to find and replace. The child doesn’t have a choice whether they want to join or not. There only choice is if they join, they live; if they don’t they can get killed in many inhumane ways, such as having their head crushed by a bat coated with needles. This kind of treatment and torture are just daily patterns for groups such as the LRA. This is contaminating the minds of our future generation and teaching these children that killing is an okay and the right thing to do. We must take action to stop this act of inhumane event and also protect the children that has gone through such a horrifying childhood. 443 have signed so far - help us get to 1,000.
