The Dublin SPCA has not enough space or money to rescue any more animals and put down the older (and maybe healthier)dogs that have been in its care for a long time. This could be happening anywhere else in the world as well.
They are lots of places you can adopt abandoned dogs, cats etc. Healthy animals are put down everyday because there is no space for them and they are not wanted.
