507 signatures so far! Petition created by: william EA has announced that the servers for Lotr Conquest will be shut down on March the 16th to allow time and money to be spent on other games. Many games server's are to be shut down on the date because they no long hold a vast majority of player's playing on the servers. However Lotr Conquest holds a community with tons of energy and life with dedicated fans of the game where new clans are made every week and clan battles are a regular occurrence. The PS3 version in particular holds a good amount of people, and shows no signs of decay but in fact growth making it a real shame to pull a plug on the game while it is prospering. Players from the Xbox360 have spent a small fortune purchasing a ps3 recently to acquire the active playstation version. This shows there dedication to the game and what a letdown it must be for them to find they spent all this money to play on the PS3 version for a month. That is why I am writing a petition to save Lord of the rings Conquest for the ps3 for at least 6 months. Conquest holds a lot of servers many which are found empty particularly DLC servers, therefore servers can be saved by cutting down the LOTRC servers by a significant number but saving enough room for the players to play on, a dozen servers should be enough for each platform . The Ps3 version currently holds roughly 45 servers, meaning you could cut the servers down by 85 percent without affecting the game play to the dedicated fans. Lord of the rings Conquest is a unique game, another game like it cannot be found and has captured the hearts of many gamers and would be absolutely criminal to cut it out when the community is still strong.
