There hasn't been any proven scientific fact that Marijuana is either harmfull, addictive, or cause any harm to others. This is a petition to take back a innocent plant from being labeled a taboo in our modern day world. The War on Drugs, as it pertains to the prosecution of the act of marijuana consumption by private citizens, is a misapropriation of taxpayer dollars. It establishes otherwise law-abiding citizens as criminals and leads consumers of marijuana to oppress themselves via their own hard-earned tax-dollars, which could be better spent elsewhere. It might also give the government chance to invest in more importent subjects then to waste it on a innocent plant.
