Government Scrappage Scheme a Load of Scrap

Recently, the British Government introduced a Car Scrappage scheme, which gives us £2000 avg. on a new car in place of an old Morris Minor. But a poll on MSN UK shows that the scheme would not encourage us to buy a new car. This petition is for the stopping of the scheme as it wouldn't make a slight difference.
