Petition created by: Mick Livesey The welfare of greyhounds is put at risk everyday in my opinion by the present system of trap allocation seeding. presently it is Rails, Middle and Wide on the face of it that seems quite simple but sadly things in life are not always simple. I urge everyone to sign this petition and get a seeding system in place that is rails, middle to rails, middle to wide and wide. It will have a huge benefit on the greyhounds and stop a lot of trouble in the race and i trully believe it will cut injuries and indeed deaths of these fantastic animals. Dogs that are currently middle to rails and have to seed middle are sometimes out in trap 6 and they are looking to cut in and at the same time you can have a dog who is middle to wide and currently just seeded middle in trap 3 and is moving off. Dogs moving in and dogs moving out is a recipe for disaster and injury. Please sign this petition and we can present it to the minister of sport and the GBGB These animals deserve better and i believe every step should be taken to make racing as safe as it possibly can be currently its not imho.
