Petition created by: Jaime Outram This petition is to oppose the planning application by Mr Devine to continue to reclaim the spoil tip situated at the entrance to the woolley grange development. The application is to extend work dating back to 2003 for a further 5 years. 13 have signed so far - help us get to 200.  We have achieved 6.5% of our goal. Let's keep going! Sign the petition! Details, Impact and Progress The prosposed site lies within green belt land. No concrete evdience has been forthcoming on the environmental and health implications of continuing to reclaim this land using current methods. Councilors and local residents have raised issues with regards to spore formation and university research has questioned the sizing of 'buffer zones' around such sites. Additonal HGV traffic visiting the site are using the main entrance to the development leading to traffic restrictions. Additonal noise and unpleasant odours have been linked to activities on the spoil tip site which are imposing on the quality of life for local residents.
