Petition for After School Activities

The parents, faculty and staff of the West Caldwell Essex County Vocational School want after school activities for students. The district should provide sports and other activities, along with transportation for students. We request that line items for these activities be put into the budget for the school year 08-09. Our students deserve this as part of a well-rounded education. Additionally, other schools in the district have these programs. Currently, students are pulled from academic classes to participate in activities such as basketball, student council, etc...Our students deserve better than this.
