Petition created by: Shoaib Khan The decision of banning Burqa and veil in France and Belgium are welcomed not only by moderate muslims but also by other moderate thinkers around the world. There is no description of any such thing like Burqa or Veil in Islam, the viel(Hijab) means see any other woman with respect which is for men. Islam opposes any kind of vulgarity or nudity and that all men and women must be dressed modestly. There is no mention of Burqa or veil. Burqa and veil must be ban throughout the world as it is being created by clerics (Mullas) inorder to show their grip in the society. Even muslim countries must be forced to ban Burqa and Veil. We welcome Syrian Government's decision as being the first muslim country to ban Burqa and veil in public. Every muslim country have their own dress which is within the Islamic bounds, like the Shalwar Kameez with dupatta in Pakistan and the women's dress in Kashmir and even many western dresses if they cover most part of the body are all modest and must be considered and that there is no need for such women to wear Burqa or veil.
