It is demonstrated that a mutual dependence exists between caregiver's and care receiver's quality of life.

There is a petition (in Spanish) to officially recognize World Caregiver's Day (Día Mundial del Cuidador de Personas Dependientes). It is a social cause, started by people with no affiliation.
