The Chester Chronicle calls for the re-opening of the much-missed Gateway Theatre to restore Chester’s cultural heart.
The shelving of the flagship £460m Northgate development – and new performing arts centre – for at least four years demands action now to fill the void created by the premature closure of the theatre.
