Recently its stores have begun to offer recycling services, a significant step towards environmental friendliness. However, Tim Hortons still offers its customers the opportunity to 'double cup'. This petition seeks to convince Tim Hortons to utilize 'heat sleeves' instead of a double cup. Heat sleeves use significantly less paper than an entire cup, and are more environmentally friendly than the current option. Even if the cups are made of recycled materials, the production and energy expenses of making the larger cup are environmentally harmful.
