Support Education

We are currently developing a pilot project targeting undeserved students attending post-secondary education institutions in specific geographical areas in sub-Saharan Africa. Our plan is to expand the program to other parts of Africa, as soon as we complete all phases of this initial pilot project. To assist us in this endeavor, we have created a few internship positions. You should also understand that all the current Iduka internships are virtual volunteer positions, that may in some cases require off line participation in local community outreach events.

Who is eligible?

Requirements and procedures:

Requirements: Prospective interns must be the following:

(1) Current undergraduate and graduate college students and recent graduates are eligible for the internship program, although exceptions may be made for educators, high-school students and other members of the community;
(2) Both domestic and international applications will be considered, however, some positions require applicants to reside in one of the targeted geographical areas of this pilot project.

Procedures: Prospective interns must request Internship Package and return the following:

(1) Iduka Internship Application Form (singed and dated);
(2) Close-up photo;
(3) Two reference letters.( French, English, Portuguese Accepted)

IMPORTANT: Please note that incomplete internship applications will not be considered. Previously submitted documents, such as: Curriculum Vitae’s, emails expressing interest in internship, etc., will not be considered as a complete internship application. To participate, you need to request an Internship Package.

How do I request the Internship Package?
