defend the wildlife of alberta! stop oil sands production!
the purpose of this petition is to attempt to change the laws that protect wildlife and protect the future of our children and grandchildren so that they may see the species of birds, bugs, and mammals that we now see, in their natural environment and not only in captivity. hundreds of birds and ducks have landed in the toxic "swamp" left from oilsands production near Fort Mcmurray, alberta. and many of those birds have died. see the news from april 30th, 2008 for more information. and help us protect the future!
