Female genital mutilation in a simple word is the cutting off of the clitoris of the girl child. To an ettent, the clitoris of widows are also being cut off. The main reason for this is that; for the girl child, she will not know a man fast and will get married as a virgin. For the widows, they say it makes the widow not to have interest for sex any longer so that she may remain without having sex with any other man since the husband is dead .
