Maternal health is our health

I want to support increasing access to women's health around the world, in conjunction with advocating against the discrimination and marginalization of women on the basis of their sex (or gender), which has played a significant role in limiting women's access to crucial health care services.

We all came to this earth through our mothers, and without good health, mothers cannot give birth to healthy children. In addition, the increasing poverty of many of the world's women have also played a part in decreasing access to essential health services for both women and their children, which has resulted in an alarming increase in child mortality over the years.

Therefore I urge you not to see maternal health as a issue for just mothers or just women, but for all people on earth.
