Do you feel that your rights have been violated because of President Obama's speech scheduled for the 8th of this month? I do, if this speech was so innocent then why did they wait till the week before to notify the public? Yes other presidents have addressed students before but not on this level. Also I read that some school districts are not going to allow parents to pull students out of the speech! Who do these people think they are?! If a parent wants to pull their child out of the speech they have every right too!Unless that's the point of this whole thing is to slowly take away our rights! The way the President went about this is all wrong. If he had properly informed the public and given parents the chance to prescreen the material the uproar probably wouldn't be so bad. But as it is people feel that the President is trying to tell us what we must let our children be subjected to instead of letting us make that choice for ourselves!
