help prevent obesity in the United States

Over the past few decades, obesity in the United States has increased from 13% to 33%. In the year 2004, the Institute of Medecin said that child obesity was a national priority. Studies have also shown from the department of national health that in the year 2015, 70% of adults in the Unites States will experience obesity, accompanied by 25% of children.
One of the major factors of obesity is the advancemnt of technology. The development of cars, T.V., T.V. remote, computers and video games, has reduced physical activity in the people which cause obesity.
Obesity causes several health issues such as Diabetes, High blood pressure
Coronary heart disease, stroke, congestive heart failure, Psychological disorders including depression, eating disorders, distorted body image and low self esteem.
This petition is to ask everyone to take action over th issue of besity. Eech person may start by watching less T.V. per day, spending less time playing video games or in the computer, and spending more time in some sort of physical activity. It is never late to start!
