Coal companies use explosives to blast away whole mountain tops to get to the coal within. This method of mining is called Mountain Top Removal mining (MTR) and is highly destructive and costly to the communities who live there. The Tennessee Scenic Vistas Protection Act is a bill to stop MTR coal mining in Tennessee. Please help our effort in passing this bill by signing this petition.
