It will help eliminate fossil fuels, and reduce carbon dramatically in the U.S. alone. Maybe, other countries will be able to follow this example and switch to other forms of energy as well. 11 have signed so far - help us get to 300.  We have achieved 3.67% of our goal. Let's keep going! Sign the petition! Details, Impact and Progress Global warming is taking a large impact on our communities, and it has to be stopped. It is melting the arctic circle, and so many of families and homes have taken damage because of this. 180 villages in Alaska have been lost because the permafrost is melting, and it costs 1.3 million U.S. dollars to help those communities. Global warming is also taking its toll in other places. It also is cutting back produce because it is drying up water in farming communities, and this could lead to famine if not stopped. Also, global warming increases the spread of disease. If not stopped, global warming could kill millions of people. Global warming is truly a crime against humanity. So sign this petition to get our government to switch to solar and wind power and eliminate fossil fuels, and you could make a difference in the world.
