Petition for British Olympic Association to Allow Dwain Chambers to compete in London 2012 Olympics!

Dwain Chambers is a British 100m Sprint Athlete. He subsided to taking performance enhancing drugs in 2002 after giving in to peer pressure. After being caught, he admitted his offence and took punishment for it. He sustained a 2 year competition ban and a lifetime ban from the olympics. Since his autobiography was published in 2009, it has highlighted flaws in the athletics system. So much so that athletes and coaches who have done more serious offences than Dwain have had their olympic lifetime bans overuled and have been allowed to compete in the olympic games/ coach athletes for it, since their bans were overuled. Dwain Chambers admits what he did was wrong and since taking his punishment he has continuously promoted clean sport (running without taking illegal performance enhancing drugs in the sport). There are many people in Britain who believe that Dwain has served his punishment and missed 2 Olympic games which he yearned to compete in. Now the 2012 Olympics is fast approaching and what he wants more than anything is the honour to be able to compete in it clean! He has the talent and the A class times to do so. Now he just needs the critism to back off and those who are stopping him from competing to give him the opportunity to let his CLEAN running do the talking and make himself and his country proud by competing in the Olympics in his home country in 2012. Lets help make this happen!!! He is an athlete that many people world wide enjoy watching run, he has the potential to be a worthy competitor of Bolt, Gay and Powell.
