We petition the Honorable Barak Obama, President of the United States to
implement the following six changes to start fulfilling the promises of
his historic campaign to the American people.
1. Implement universal, government-paid ( single-payer ) healthcare for
all - Good physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health is essential for a peaceful democratic society, and for individuals to be productive. This should be the FIRST priority as to how our wealth in this country is used. Not-for-profit universal, government-paid ( single-payer ) healthcare is a necessity for accomplishing WORLD PEACE.
2. Free federal prisoner Leonard Peltier by executive order today -
His imprisonment is a grave injustice against all Native Americans and against Native rights and human rights. His conviction is a blatant abuse of the power of the American justice system, for the purpose of repressing Native American sovereignty. We need the wisdom of Native American Elder, Leonard Peltier, in these times of change to accomplish WORLD PEACE.
3. Solar energy collectors available for every house - Abundant sustainable, clean, solar and wind energy systems provided by the government at no cost for low income people, and subsidized for all who can afford to buy, on a non-profit basis. This is a real solution to the crisis of climate change. This provides decentralized protection from terrorist attacks on the power grid and helps bring an end to dependence on foreign oil. Every human being needs energy to prosper, and plenty of energy for all is a necessity for accomplishing WORLD PEACE.
4. Passenger trains connecting every city - Affordable, clean transportation, operated on a non-profit basis, is a benefit to the peaceful, prosperous coexistence of all people. This takes thousands of cars off our highways and will create thousands of jobs to build and
maintain a nationwide passenger train system powered by wind and solar energy, that rivals Europe's system. Transportation sensitive to the environment is necessary for WORLD PEACE.
5. Organic gardening classes in every school - Organic food production must be taught in every school from first grade through college, as a basic educational requirement. Food is the most basic human need (along with peaceful coexistence with our fellow human beings). Clean, natural, sustainable non-genetically-modified food production, and nutrition
education, are the lowest-cost, most effective and efficient health insurance. Organic farming is essential to solving world hunger, and our climate change crisis, and is a necessity for accomplishing WORLD PEACE.
6. Call for a global ceasefire - It is time to stop shooting at each other, end war, and stop legal killing. The money saved from standing down the military, and the example of sincerely honoring all human life, would encourage the best efforts in all peoples and nations towards WORLD PEACE.

Instead of grinding Flour, use sprouts. Wheat, rye or barley makes sweet, nutritious sprout base for yeast breads. Better digestion, less energy in a dry mill, but you want easy grinding in a food processor. Easier storage of whole grain, lasts much longer than dusty flour.
