Petition created by: Wajahat Nassar

A Petition to show support for the independence for Scotland.

From the SNP Manifesto:
"The 300-year old Union is no longer fit for purpose. It was never designed for the 21st century world. It is well past its sell by date and is holding Scotland back. The SNP believe Scotland and England should be equal nations – friends and partners - both free to make our own choices."

Scotland has a long history of self rule. From the times of Sir William Wallace to the election results proclaiming the Scottish National Party as the leading party, Scotland is set for the independence.

I propose the following for the petition and anticipate that the Scottish People will approve of the petition:

1. Scotland be an independent and free country with the power to legislate in all matters.

2. Scotland be a free country and a member of the international organizations as a free country.

3. That, Scotland enjoy friendly relations with the neighboring countries and achieve independence through peaceful means.

4. That the Scottish Government should negotiate a settlement with the Government of the United Kingdom so that Scotland becomes an independent state.

If you agree please sign this petition.
