Its high time our governments look into ou plight as leaders of today and how much we can contribute to development if we are involved in their policy making and developmental programs. The first step to be taken is creation of employment and empowerment programs amongst the youths. This will enhance productivity at both both macro and micro levels and reduce on such scourges that most of us youths are using as a scapegoat such as alcohol abuse, high prevailance of HIV/ AIDS and reduce on poverty. 2 have signed so far - help us get to 2,000,000.  We have achieved 0% of our goal. Let's keep going! Sign the petition! Details, Impact and Progress About 65% of African population are youths, which means Africa is a youthful population. I believe if we all stand up together with one voice and petition our governments against high unemployment rates am very sure something will be done about it. There is no way a university graduate should be languishing the streets with their degrees, thats not in order and un called for, something has to be done about it. With your voice, will present or send this to the United Nations General Assembly. We need more resources to be allocated towards job creation and empowerment programmes amongst youths.
