Petition created by: Aniekan Ekah

We strongly condemn the attack on the Togolese National Team by the Forces for the Liberation of the State of Cabinda-Military Position (FLEC-PM) on their way to African Nations Cup in Angola.

Whatever issues might have been looming in that country before the commencement of this tournament should have been resolved or brought to its barest minimum even before the Angolan Government ever thought of bidding for the hosting rights of this tournament.

We as young people of the world say 'STOP THIS VIOLENCE' and peacefully resolve all existing and emerging conflicts.

We should never be made to feel the impact of what we did not cause. Football is a global language and everyone is free to speak and be heard.

The Angolan Government should ensure appropriate security of lives and property of both its citizens and visitors.

Football is in Angola to speak 'PEACE' and not violence.
