311 signatures so far! Petition created by: yvonne kearsley Developers have bought our local pub and its going to be demolished to build houses. The pub is very old and is a lovely stone building with plenty of character. There is even an old mounting block with metal rings to tie horses up. I have been told the pub is 400 years old but as yet were not sure, it was originally a farm come public inn. 311 have signed so far - help us get to 300.  We have achieved 103.67% of our goal. Let's keep going! Sign the petition! Details, Impact and Progress Have got told Wain Homes have bought it, they turned up and put a metal demolition fence around it. It looks as though they may of been trying to demolish it without anyone knowing, as there have been no plans submitted yet. Heritage centre/planning dept have put a 6 months presevation order on the pub 10th Sept. CAMRA have told me to set up an online petition and they will then help.
