A Petition in favour of more quality Animation/Anime and Sci-Fi Movies and TV shows to be shown in the UK on mainstream TV chanels

An open petition to the following UK TV networks: BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and UKTV. We would like you to support and invest in entertaining, informative and educational original programming based on the Animation, Anime, Science fiction and horror genres.

After much consideration we believe this goal can be achieved best by one of two ways:
1) Creating a new Channel accessible by all (not just those with sky, or cable etc.) dedicated to bringing a mixture of both classic Movies/Shows, new original movies/shows as well as educational shows (such as "a history of such and such a genre", "technical skills for the industry", an "acting master class" featuring those at the top of the profession) from the aforementioned genres to the masses.

2) Amend current channels to include these shows in the daily TV schedules, for example more Adult shows like Naruto and Bleach would be shown in a later time slot like Family Guy and American Dad, while more child friendly shows like My little pony friendship is magic, Digimon frontier, legend of korra can be shown in the usual before school in a morning, after school in the afternoon and Saturday/sunday morning cartoon slot. programmes such as Knightmare, Star Trek Continues, DC & marvel type of cartoons in an early evening/primetime slot for teenagers/young adults. The educational shows can be tailor made to suit each group and fit into the schedules accordingly.
